Ekill driving school is a company providing courses and training for car licences, motorcycle licences, commercial driving licences and heavy machinery licence. Ekill operates a driving school offering theoretical courses via online school, online meetings and on-site classes. Ekill ehf. is a pioneer in theoretical learning in Iceland and, as far as is known, in Europe. In 2004, Ekill became the first driving school to offer a theoretical course via online learning platform, in cooperation with Jónas Helgason, a secondary school and driving instructor in Akureyri. On 16 March 2020, Ekill was also the first driving school to offer the commercial driving licence (additional driving entitlements) via online meetings, and later the basic course for heavy machinery licences, also via online meetings

Ekill ehf. was founded in 1997 by Grétar Viðarsson and his family.

The word Ekill is an old expression for the word driver in Icelandic.
